Quinnipiac University Online invites nominations and applications for the position of Assistant Director of Admissions. The Assistant Director of Admissions will work with the Director of Admissions for Online Programs to attract, enroll, and retain a class with strong educational credentials.

Our online programs allow students to complete their course work weekly without attending a scheduled class date and time.


Our online bachelor's, master's, doctoral degree and certificate programs are offered through the University's School of Business and Engineering, School of Communications, School of Education, School of Health Sciences, and School of Nursing.

  • Manage inquiries to achieve prompt contact and weekly activity goals
  • Schedules and conducts interviews; pursues qualified candidates for enrollment
  • Determines appropriateness of candidates for admission based upon career goal compatibility
  • Achieves enrollment and start rate goals
  • Consistently conducts follow-up with all applicants to ensure successful matriculation
  • Participates in appropriate recruitment and enrollment activities
  • Conducts all activities in accordance with the highest ethical standards. Adheres to all state and federal accreditation and institute rules and regulations regarding student recruitment  
  • May be required to participate in business/community development activities to encourage enrollments into programs at Quinnipiac University Online

Qualifications & Special Instructions to Applicants

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Relevant advanced degree preferred
  • Strong sales and customer relationship experience preferably with adult students
  • Demonstrated ability with data analysis and technology is required 
  • Excellent written and oral communication and organization skills 
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Flexibility in work schedule, as well as the willingness to travel 
  • Proficiency with MS Office programs 
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively with a diverse population of students and faculty

An understanding of and commitment to enrollment management concepts, and a willingness to work in and contribute to a team- oriented environment will be important factors in the selection process.




Knowledge of Datatel Colleague is a plus

Previous experience in college admissions
