The School of Communications at Quinnipiac University invite applications for a Temporary Assistant Director for Advising and Student Development to support the Director with the Career Development function in the School of Communications.
This is a temporary position that will last from July 1, 2018, until approximately the end of December 2018. From July to September, the position will be 20 hours per week. From September to December, the position will require flexibility to work additional hours.

Master's Degree in higher education administration, communications or other related field
5 years of advising undergraduate students in a university or college setting
Familiarity with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
Demonstrated experience as an effective advocate for students
Ability to work with a diverse population
Proficiency with Blackboard and the use of various social media job platforms such as LinkedIn
Strong oral and written communication skills
